Games of the XXX Olympiad

In honor of the 2012 Olympics, I spent my morning attempting to be an athlete.

Swim practice and then a 4 hour/34 mile adventurous bike ride into Madison to the Brightwood General Store with 2 biker buddies.

We chatted the hours by and enjoyed checking out the views of the Blue Ridge.

The morning was crisp, green fields, blue skies, and a slight breeze.

But, the real hidden gem was the Brightwood General Store. So rustic/classic. I will take friends back by driving my car there.


They supposedly have amazing food, entertainment, and candy assortment (check out that pic!).
