2nd Day of School, 1st Hockey Win

Schu & I. I think we make a good team.

It was the second day of school. All was well within the Smart Cookie classroom. We even had another  visit by Tibbs and Tubbs the turtles. Plus, we now have determined that we have a few students who can do legit splits.

This was determined during out Classmate in a Bag presentations. As always, note none of the above fit in a bag. But, I encourage creativity. And, if you can do a split, then you should be allowed to no-matter-the-age.

I yelped in pain just watching it.

On the hockey field, Schu and I yelped as our Cyclones weren't doing splits but scoring goals.

And, actual legit goals.

Our team looked like a team.

It was probably the first game we've had that was truly enjoyable.

I think we're really starting to see the fruits of our labor over the past 3 years.

We won 4-0.

Let me note that both these highlights could be a completely different story next week at this time. But, that's why I'm in the field of education. You go up, down, all around...as long as you grow along the way...then, it's all good.

Moral of the Story: Today, we win. Tomorrow, we practice even harder.
