Thanks to my uncle. That's what I did.
Cross that off the life to-do list.
Oh, that's right it wasn't on my list.
But, that was today's adventure.
Take a personal day and actually do something fun.
My cousin got me setup on Sunday. I used his little tidbits to not look like a complete novice.
We got to the country club at 6:30 and finished our 18 holes at 12:30. They had to send a shuttle to get us because they needed our golf carts back to start they next group. Laugh.
And, I had a lot of fun.
It was the most fun I've had in the past 2 months.
I can see how people really enjoy it.
We were able to get away from life, be in nature, and have the challenge of hitting that little white ball somewhere.
There were def some laughs. Some re-dos. And, some 'beeps.'
Sometimes, I hit air. Sometimes, I hit tree. Sometimes, I hit water. And, sometimes, I heard that beautiful 'clink' of hitting the ball.
I definitely want to go back and try again.
Moral of the Story: I was out of my comfort zone. And, I really liked it.
