Tuesday Tidbits

  • I am not sore from the golf adventure.
  • I chose to be happy today.  It was pure bliss.
  • I love that in life you never know what will happen. I think this is the curious truth that keeps one going.
  • I was getting my mail. All dressed up from Back to School Night. My neighbor pulled in. We shot the breeze. Then, I was invited over. The feeling of being welcomed and just shooting the breeze with her and her husband was quite uplifting.
  • My current age in my classroom is 79. A month ago I was 80.
  • Field hockey had a classic high school game yesterday. We were down 0-2 to our cross-town rival. We scored 2 goals in the second half and then won in sudden death overtime at their place. Classic. What it's all about.
  • Okie dokie. Let's get cranking on those fall recipes.
  • It's starting to get a tad nippy out there.
  • My uncle once told me that their are single guys where ever I live. Richmond. Atlanta. Knoxville. Cpep. They're everywhere. I agree with him.
  • A parent asked me how one does a plop because her daughter keeps telling her about it. Note: I do not wear a plop during school hours.
  • I'm about to cuddle up and make time with Kindle.
  • I'm back to building up my running. It's amazing that 2 months ago I did a full-distance triathlon. Now, 15 minutes feels like that. But, that's what I love about doing different exercises. There's always a challenge.
  • Zest. Find it. Be it.
Moral of the Story: You never know how big of a gift you'll get when you're not expecting it.
A Smart Cookie gave me an apple the size of a small watermelon today.
