It's Friday

It's Friday. The last day of the month. Where did February go?

• It's Body Combat day.
• It's pajama day for the food closet.
• It's pay day.
• It's ice cream sundae party day.
• It's guidance day.
• It's Lit Circle-in-the-classroom-for-lunch day.
• It's we're having a police-officer-come-talk-to-our-class day.
• It's may dad's-subbing-at-my-school day.
• It's early dismissal day.

These were all oh so fun and endearing. You know what was the most fun?

That feeling of it being 8:30 at night on a Friday. That feeling of it was a successful day. That feeling of learning dappled with fun. That feeling of laughter and hugs. That feeling of being able to cozy up in bed and read some blogs. And, go to bed early.

 

Moral of the Story: There is something so comforting about clean sheets and an iPad.
