Tuesday Tidbits

  • Ran a few miles in the rain.
  • As I unlocked my classroom door, I thought "I love my job."
  • There's something so peaceful about rainy, Spring days with the Smart Cookies.
  • I remembered the ranch dressing for my lunch.
  • Yesterday, a student brought me a baggie with a homemade brownie and a dark jelly bean. I knew something was up due to her tremendous excitement coupled with her siblings standing in the classroom door. They wanted me to taste the jelly bean, but suggested that I have yummy water nearby. The jelly bean tasted like skunk spray. Everyone died laughing. It was fun. Next week, she hopes to bring me 'stinky socks.'
  • I'm secretly getting very excited to clean my closet tomorrow night.
  • There's nothing better than a day that your professional wardrobe feels just as comfortable as your bum clothes.
  • I try to grow my nails out. Then, they annoy me.
  • I feel like pay day always comes at the perfect time.
  • The Book Fair is at school right now. It brings back fond childhood memories of the freedom of a baggie with a few dollars in it.
  • The whole NBA Clippers owner debacle intrigues me.
Moral of the Story: Noah, we may need a boat if this rain keeps up.
