Today, my graduating class from CCHS lost another one.
Unfortunately, we have lost a few.
Because of Facebook, we were able to know of his tragic motorcycle accident.
He lived in Anchorage. He was a veteran. He was a father.
It seems just like yesterday that we were sitting in Spanish class. He had convinced me that he was adopted until I called his bluff.
It's true that what you remember about someone is how they made you feel. He made me laugh and slightly roll my eyes at his craziness.
I find it so affirming the bond of my graduating class as we traveled so many years together. Yet, years later we still hold that bond.
Moral of the Story: Embrace today.
