The month of April was wrapping up.
My UVA classes wrapped up.
And, the school system called declaring a 2-hour delay because of excessive rain.
Can you hear the peaceful melody in the background?
There was nothing better to celebrate than to be cozy, light a candle, fold laundry, and try a new recipe.
I read about the recipe this weekend in the May 2014 issue of Good Housekeeping.
I knew this recipe for Volcano Cookies would be good even if it didn't taste good for 2 reasons:
- The cookies are low in calories.
- The cookies involved ingredients in my pantry.
Moral of the Story: I'm absolutely thrilled for the sense of finality May brings as it ushers in Summer.
