A Sunday Transformation

This Sunday transformation didn't happen at church. It happened on the back deck.

It was time for Home Improvement 101 to continue. There's only one more box to check after this fun in the sun.

The ingredients:

• stain (coupled with a meal at Sonic with The Farmer)
• roller
• paint brush
• paper towels
• spray paint
• new pillows
• trash bags
• newspaper
• new door mat

The transformation cost less than $100. So, just call it transformation on a shoestring.

I spray painted the rocking chairs and table. I ordered a new part for one of the rocking chairs from Plow & Hearth. The Farmer fixed it. The pillows and door mat came from Target. The Farmer and I painted the deck. Simple math that all added up to a great new space to hang and read.

Moral of the Story: I always love looking at before and after pics.
