- We went on a field trip to nature today. And, I absolutely adored it. And, the Smart Cookies too. We were off-roading and it was fun. We spent the first 30 minutes listening to birds sing. It was pure harmony of a classroom. Jaws-dropped, eyes-focused, fingers pointed...
- I ate Sonic for dinner on Thursday, Friday, and Monday.
- The summer is about to get sticky.
- We learned how to eat Honeysuckle on the field trip. Did you know the yellow flowers are the ripe ones?
- A student gave me a hammock last week.
- I love reading during the late evening.
- 19 Kids & Counting is on my "must-watch list."
- We had our first field hockey meeting today. So, many fresh faces is always a good thing.
- We picked tons of strawberries tonight. Although, I think I ate as many as I picked.
Moral of the Story: Sitting with a class of third graders around a campfire while under a canopy of trees is a wonderful feeling.
