Let's All Be Brave

Field Hockey has been over for less than 24 hours.

And, I've completed reading a book that I've wanted to invest time in for the past 4 months.

I have craved reading Let's All Be Brave: Living Life with Everything You Have by Annie F. Downs.

Why?

The book had wonderful raves on Amazon. I follow Annie F. Downs on Instagram. We have the same name. And, she used to be an elementary school teacher. Why wouldn't I want to live the title of the book?

The book was an easy read as it was nonfiction memiors of her life. I highly recommend the book for a twenty-something or an early-thirty-something.

The book was light yet every chapter had a potent line that simply resonated with me. I can still hear the line humming in my mind like a church bell still vibrating after it has been rung.

So I pray peace for you, fellow traveler. We are embarking on something new today as we say good-bye, and I pray you will never be the same because of what Jesus has done in your heart. You are stronger than you know. You are more generous than you've allowed yourself to be.  You are impacting the people around you far more than you realize. Will you now be brave? ~Annie F. Downs (p. 200).

Moral of the Story: Let's All Be Brave in this world that we're navigating.
