Tuesday Tidbits

  1. God is good.
  2. It's in the draping of dark moments across the media and society, that, man, those glimpses of light and hope are moments that spur my world on.
  3. Did you see the airplane in Siberia? It was stuck on a runway in temperatures of 52 degrees below zero. What happened next? The passengers got out and pushed the plane onto the runway.
  4. The temperatures today rocked. And, the temperatures for tomorrow may rock, too.
  5. Today, I stepped outside my box and tried to fill a need within my classroom with the team that works within my room. Our students planned a Thanksgiving Feast, cleaned and prepared for it, set the table, passed food, shared thankfulness, held conversations, cleaned up the room, and washed/dried dishes.
  6. The day capped off with Momma, Daddy, Worth, and Mitchells sharing Chinese take-out at the dinner table. Does it get much better?
  7. Actually, the sunset was indescribable.

Moral of the Story: Savor the goodness of the break as we give thanks for the goodness.
