Retirement Party

We got to celebrate the retirement of Janet Lynn this afternoon.

She spent 30 years as a public educator. Clap. Clap. That is something definitely worth celebrating.

The celebration meant a cookout mixed of educators and families that have known each other for 20 years as their kids swam at the Rec Club and wove through school together.

It also meant that Jenna came into town from the north and Kat came in town from the south.

Over 20 years of friendship...
As the sun set, the conversations were filled with laughter, fear of a snake, and nostalgia.

Moral of the Story: Some say life begins at retirement.
