The gift resounded with me because it paralleled conversations we have had over the past few years, was made be her hands, and was a surprise.
What touched me more is that we don't share the same space at school (she isn't even in the same physical building), but the gift was extremely personalized.
It made me really think about the beauty of friendships and connections we develop.
Moral of the Story: She knew the song of my heart. She got me. I hope to practice the same with others moving forward.
