Girl Power

I went on another one of those fun blind date things I do. He was fun, does triathlons, and opened my door (we all know we love that!). We went to the parade and dinner. Many of you have already gotten your Cliff Notes Recap. But, ya, don't clear your date for a wedding anytime soon.

This date definitely beat the last blind date where we ended up doing donuts in the middle of the Blizzard. This definitely beat the one before the last blind date where within 2 minutes I cheerfully said "I'm a lefty...I hate cancer" which I'll never live down.

In honor of Sex and the City II being out which I can't wait to see with T & K and company tomorrow night, I'll gladly say what made the day wholesome and fun was having the support of all my girlfriends and calling them 50 times and knowing they will answer, even if Kat asked me if I was crazy while Christina asked if I was alright. Laugh.

To quote Ellen on the night, "you don't have to have men, but you have to have women." true that.

How would we live without girlfriends? Who would you call to vent? Who would you call to share an exciting moment of life?

Anyway, moving on, I'm excited for the weekend! Cville tomorrow night for Sex and the City. And, then, Ann Summer and Only Kat and I are headed down to Charlotte for the weekend. We're supposed to hit up Whisky River (Dale Jr's Club/Bar) Saturday night and then tailgate and enjoy the NASCAR Race Sunday before heading home on Monday. Can anyone say girl power?
