~walked into my hair guy's place today...he burst out laughing, made his 3:30 appointment hold, and didn't charge me a dime (I did tip) to 'fix' my hair since one side was growing a rat tail. Mom: "it looks 100% better, you have a pretty little neck" finally a positive comment from Lynne

~had my proudest moment as a teacher this year...i've openly discussed college with my kiddos and how they should work hard and all the advantages one can have from going...many times I've told them that I was them since I went to Farmington...remember, I teach at a low-income school...about 6 kids had a deep conversation (as deep at 3rd graders go) about why they 'need' to go to college and about how they can go to college with valid reasons backing their arguments...that's why I teach...
