Adios Lowcounty...hola Blue Ridge

All good things must come to an end...at least until another time.

Today was the last day of my new favorite word-VACATION.

This is the first time in my life that I truly understood what it meant to be on vacation. Vacation, for me, means to escape the 'real world'/daily life as much as possible, try and enjoy new experiences, sit still and read a book, savor life without a watch to tell you the time, drink wine and eat tons of delicious food while not feeling guilty about not working out, listen to audiobooks while flying, to splurge on opportunities you normally would say thats 'too much,' renourish and refresh yourself, slow life down, and to just embrace the company you are around.
Moral of the Story: I didn't realize how much I needed a vacation. Society and our inner selves always has our focus on 'full-speed ahead.' Yet to maintain a focused life, one needs to slow down and take a timeout to focus on doing what one wants/needs. Oh, and it was great. Go big or go home!
