A Day at the Pool

The girls were entertained by friends. They were safe and had friends. I was of no importance to them other than "where's the money?," "where are the goldfish?," and "can this friend come home?"

So, being the teacher I am...I knew not to bother them. So, I soaked up the shade of the umbrella, the company of Only Kat, and the comfort of 2 O Magazines!

I used to love watching her show. Now, I'm a a tad over it. But, I did enjoy her magazines.

Here were some things that struck me as I read.

Oprah, your eyelashes could set a world record.

Say what? I had to get Only Kat's opinion on this and to make sure I could actually read.

Moral of the story: Don't bother the playing kids.

  1. Your moral of the story is my daily life :) And btw...what is it with kids making forts out of pool chairs?! Any kid in my neighborhood over the age of 8 spends the majority of their pool time turning over chairs and covering them with towels!
