I praise our God for faithful friendships, eternal truth, unwavering love, and unyielding splendor. Today, I found the word 'REJOICE' resonating within the world around me.
I woke up to the sound of monsoon rain. I opened my window only to realize it was blowing in. But, as Luke Bryan sings, rain is a good thing.

The night was spent shooting the summertime breeze with my parents, Only Kat, her mom, and sister. Then, more illegal fireworks lit up the night sky to celebrate July 10th.
Finally, I got in the hot tub and stared at the clear, star-filled sky. I realized how small I am physically in God's vast universe. Yet, the gift of God is that I am so big to him that he knows me and loves me. I truly feel he holds me in the palm of his hand. It's hard to understand or comprehend. And, that's faith.
