Special Guest in the Classroom

What is a better way than to slide into a new week than to have a special guest come to your classroom?

H volunteered in my classroom today. She became a Smart Cookie. She helped out a ton (I was able to catch up after being gone on Friday). She got to know the students, taught Science, and had Lit Groups this afternoon. She's a pro at the Smartboard.

The students asked if I was her mother. This is not a new conversation. However, this is..."Is Miss Hannah your mother?"

I hope she enjoyed spicing up a routine-driven Monday.

Moral of the Story: The kids concluded that we had the same hair and noses. So, we were sisters. I'll take it.
