Things I Dig...

Here's the latest things that I dig...

  1. iPhone: I use it to text, call, video, email, check the internet, take pics, get the weather, asmy iPod, check Relay with the RFL app, track expenditures, use the audio MapQuest rather than GPS now, Facebook, have an alarm clock, keep organizational notes/lists, and as a flashlight. Ba-da-bing-ba-da-boom. Love it.
  2. Clinique: Most of my makeup and that girly stuff are Clinique due to an awesome mom and aunt. Well, this weekend, I splurged and got some more Clinique stuff. Sometimes, you just need to treat yourself.
  3. Messy Spirituality by Michael Yaconelli...I don't read. But, I do read this.
  4. iMovie: In 15 mins flat, I had all my kiddos Greece News Reports composed into an awesome movie complete with graphics, text, voiceovers, and music.
  5. Wicked Good Moccasins: LL Bean made heaven for your feet.
  6. Halloween Candy: As much as I know I shouldn't eat it, I do.
  7. Digital Cable: Our TVs got switched last week...now we get CMT Pure Country and GAC...country music videos 24/7...I'm in love.
  8. October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Play for a Cure high school games, Think Pink dress-in-all-pink-days at school, eggs with a pink ribbon, eBay asking for a donation to ACS, pink bubble wrap, pink batteries, getting raffle tickets when I wear pink to the gym...if only the we were this riled up to beat ALL cancers ALL year long!
  9. $200 donation someone made on my Relay For Life homepage
  10. Holidays: Today marked the end of the 1st 9 weeks. It's the longest no-break session of the year. Let the holidays roll! Halloween, Voting, Thanksgiving, Christmas, President-this Day! I celebrate them all!
  11. 5 day pseudo-weekend: at-home workday on Friday (I have a home in Cville, so that works!), professional dev. on monday, conferences on tuesday...seems like a vacay to me!

Moral of the Story: One of my boy students with a face draped in confusion during indoor recess, "Ms. Richardson, I just don't understand girls."
