Today was a day when I rolled with the punches.
Today was a day that I saw joy and hope in others.
It was a paradox day. It was a seesaw day.
One moment I was being knocked down, the next I was being lifted it up.
While some discouraged me and my passions, others encouraged me and my passions.
While Varsity won 1-0 in sudden death OT, JV lost 0-1 with 30 seconds to go.
While someone hurt my friend's feelings and I heard the pain in her voice, we were bonded over years of friendship to build each other up.
While over 200 high school students filled the gym and some awsome teachers from my school volunteered there time for hours for the Epic Dodgeball tournament, I was still exhausted as I sat on the gym floor at 10 PM peeling tape off of mike cords.
But the day was countered with hope as miners were rescued in Chile and people showed up to support causes in many different ways.
Moral of the Story: Hope carries you through life's waters.
Through it all, I guess you have to cling to hope. Hope that you are indeed impacting or helping others. Hope that if you can chugging away, karma will treat you well.
