I can say I have never missed an election since I turned 18. It's a family event. And, we all go together. When I was little, we'd rotate going into the curtain booth with a parent. In college, Worth and I would drive home and all go vote together. It's a fabric of our commitment to society.
I was at the Brandy Station Fire Hall at 6:40 AM to cast my ballot. It doesn't get much more American than that.
As I left the gym, I called Dad. He met me there. Coffee in hand.
Moral of the Story: If you don't vote, then don't complain. That's my motto.
