Day 1 (don't worry, I'm not going to chronologically journal each summer day)...
I left for Richmond right after school yesterday to visit Christina (her first year is almost wrapped up!).
We headed Downtown for the night.
Saturday got kicked off with me waking up at 6. Laying in bed til 6:30. Then, getting up and turning on CMT while she snoozed late until 7:30. Must be teachers where 5:30 is the norm.
I loved actually watching the CMT videos and not being able to multitask. We went for a looonnnnggg walk (we may have gotten misguided a few times, but don't fret we were never in danger), followed by some summer shopping at Short Pump, my debut trip to Trader Joe's, an afternoon of Kindle time and poolside, then onto the a cookout.
Nothing better than good ol' friends.
Now, if that doesn't sound like summer then I don't know what does.
