However, between meetings, catching up with colleagues, and having to leave for practice I maybe had 1 hour solid in my room. That was 7-8 AM when I didn't have to really be there.
The school was swarming with multi-tasking people. Focus was on. (Except for the delightful catch-up lunch at Ledo's with perhaps 1/4 of the school system.)
When I left for practice, I looked around my room and asked what have I accomplished? Ehh, a few things.
But, I can tell you some things definitely got accomplished. And, some money was paid for them. And, it was well worth it.
I now have a shiny, snazzy, cleaner-than-when-I-got-him Blizzard. Wonderful detail job. Makes me feel like life isn't hectic when I'm in him.
I now have a wonderful pile of laminated goodies from Copy Right. Even better, they gave me a discount and did it same day! Booyah!
And, I now have contacts. Which are just a plain, old need.
And, I picked up a few small crates for storage while I was at Wal-Mart.
Even better, all this money was spent within 20 minutes on my way to practice.
And, darned did I feel like I had accomplished something after that.
Moral of the Story: Sometimes, it's just better to pay the money. And, more often than not, they do a much better job.
