Weekend Escape

There's no other way to describe it. Weekend Escape.

I bailed from school as soon as I could to meet up with Kat and Christina at the Williams B & B on Friday. Then, we road tripped on down to Charlotte to meet up with good ol' Rebecca.

Can you say UVA reunion? Can you say 4 great friends? Can you say 4 teachers? Can you say Charlotte (one of my fav cities)? Can you say girl time? Can you say air mattresses (love them)? Can you say laugher? Can you say Christina's signature monkey bread? Can you say finally meeting Rebecca's boyfriend? 

The weekend was filled with relaxation, meandering, and great food/wine/cocktails/beer/cheese/the list goes on.

While we shopped home decor, ate fresh Mexican, browsed local stores, hit up a Roller Derby, had a great tapas dinner Uptown, and danced at Dale Jr's Whisky River, it was the physical presence of each other that was such a comfort.

The laughter, the cutting each other off, the calling each other out, the sharing of lives that was just so homey and loving.

I find it so awesome that we are all so different yet so alike and living life the best we know how.

Moral of the Story: To be honest...'here's to us!' For keeping our reunions going...
