Friends

Friends may not always be present, but they're just like stars you know they're there.

My day was filled with ups, down, and all arounds. I thought I was doing a good job of being patient and flowing with the day.

But, I'll have to say. It just made my day with my friends  C and L  made my day!

C sent me an email describing how she had just walked around her classroom with a picture of us talking about how 2 people can be totally opposite but still be great friends. She's Henry. I'm Mudge. That's how elementary teachers roll.

She totally affirmed me.

L posted on my fbook wall.

I got home at 8 to a post where she shared a link about Kate Middleton (someone who we love) fighting cancer (a passion of mine). And, then she wrote 'you are amazing.'

She totally affirmed me.

What I love about this? Is that C & L care enough to know who I am, what makes me tick, and then share life over it.

Moral of the Story: I'll cling to these affirmations. You never know how what you say will affect someone. I feel loved and appreciated. It's a good feeling.
