Travis Tritt had it right...

It's a great day to be alive...
1) Had my last 50 min training run this morning.
2) Parted my hair on the left side to switch it up today.
3) Student A brought me the 'largest apple I could fine' (it was the size of a golf ball) for her 'favoritest teacher.'
4) Same student claimed she threw a 'temper tantrum of excitement' because of her report card grades.
5) Kids earned 3 ingredients today so they earned homemade cookies (basically I'm too busy to bake tomorrow night or this weekend).
6) Taxes are done and had a faculty meeting (supposedly have a job next year). Jenna's dad came to school, too.
7) Had an extra 20 minutes of planning today.
8) Parents had orientation for new kids tonight so I was on my own. Slipped to Martin's to pick up Christina's infamous mango salsa ingredients. Thought I'd go for a homerun and get Mail Order Bride from Redbox and Fresca.

9) Made the kids their cookies. Casuality since I got caught up in dusting off my chopping skills for the salsa.

10) Had dinner and a movie (and a Portis) coupled with Fresca in a triathlon-trophy glass to get cheers for this weekend.

11) Enjoyed nature on a walk.

12) Watched the sunset.

13) Acknowledged I must overcome casualities (the cookies).
14) Slipped to target to get ingredients. (Picked up toenail polish). Baked cookies.
15) Finished Mail Order Bride.
16) Got pre-race email for this weekend.
17) Watching Criminal Minds with Banco snoring on my left and Portis curled up on my right.

Moral of the Story: And it's a great day to be alive
I know the sun's still shinin when I close my eyes
There's some hard times in the neigborhood
But why can't every day be just this good? -Travis Tritt
