1 year anniversary

This week marked my 1 year anniversary of officially being a teacher.

Last year, when I received my free teacher yearbook pictures, I remember thinking I made it. A year later when I just received my pictures, I can truly say, "I made it!"

What a year it was?! And, that's the way I like it.

This past year was a joy-filled rollercoaster. Click. The seatbelt held me together for the ride.

The seatbelt included God, family, friends, pets, the Williams B & B, videochatting, Fuji Braeburn, the Blizzard, trips, food, Cville, travel, tv, love, and perseverance.

I have learned, experienced, and witnessed so much the past year. I have made mistakes. I have embraced consequences. I have fallen. I have gotten up. I have been burned. I have recovered. I have been reactive. I have been proactive.

Through it all, my faith in God and that there's a grander plan for life has persevered. I truly believe God has given me many talents and it is my God-given dream to use them all up before I go to Heaven.

It has not been easy. I have grown in so many ways.

I am happy, joyful, and grateful for the life I lead.

Moral of the Story: I love Teva shoes. There motto is "Go. Do. Be."
