Having Family

I love family. Varsity and JV had home games tonight. Both lost.

But, the cool thing was. While coaching, I could see my aunt, uncle, Momma, Daddy, and Momma Pilot and Captain Mike.

It was awesome to have my family come out even though my days of hitting the field are over.

I loved hugging Pagie and Jimmy before running over to Momma and Momma Pilot.

We headed over to iHop for Senior Citizen's Night. Captain Mike had his EVHS coaching shirt, Momma Pilot and Momma bought EVHS field hockey shirts, and Daddy had his coaching shirt on.

I love that Momma Pilot and Captain Mike spent their 'date night' coming to unselfishly cheer me on and stay out late (9:30) at iHop. I love that Momma and Daddy hustled on over to iHop for their daughter.

Moral of the Story: Momma said it best 'it takes a village to raise a child.'
