The day was filled with watching L be a spider and G be Thing 1 in the Book Characters parade, shopping at Barracks with T (got 3 new OPIs, Ellen, on sale!), helping in L's class that only has 15 kids (I can only dream), going to the nurse with G to have her offer me a flu shot (sure, thanks, I'll take that), watching G eat lunch (b/c I still refuse to eat school lunches), watching Oprah (that girlfriend and I need to catch up), the neighborhood, 1 block, parade, and watching Halloween H20 (conversation with D: how to survive a Horror Movie).
O wait, is that not presidential enough?
We froze our butts off on the side of 29 to watch Air Force One land and to watch President Obama drive by in his 30-car motorcade. It was very eerie to see 29 shut down. But, what a unique lifetime experience. I remember standing beside 29 watching President Clinton drive by when I was a little girl.
Moral of the Story: It's not every day that you have a presidential day.
Nope, that's not a UFO. That's Air Force One.
