Well, it went down. Young Life! Rockbridge-style!

Recipe for an Amazing, Unexplainable, Ridic Weekend

~60 Culpeper high schoolers

~10 charter buses filled with other high schoolers

~2 nights of posh camping

~rocking Club times

~an all out glow stick dance party

~awesome food (steak!)

~dancing on chairs at meals

~a zip line into 36 degree water

~death swing (free fall from 40 ft up)

~cabin time with EVHS girls

~shopping at the camp store

~playing Mad Gab

~swinging and rocking on the porches

~awesome cheers, chants, sing alongs

~a velcro bounce

~ talks about who Jesus is

~girls leaving home for the first time

~girls having to clean the cabins

~road trip

~no technology!

~keeping it real!

~middle of the fall, VA mountains

Mix it all together (adventure, relationships, and meaning) and you get the best weekend of their lives!...thus far.

Moral of the Story: One of my girls, who reached and stepped out of her comfort zone in so many ways, claimed she 'had the time of my life!!!!!!' I'd have to agree! I went into the weekend with no expectations and was blown away by the amazingness of Jesus and the adventure of life with him.
