Sunday AM Gator Patrol-we confiscate campsite props

Relay was very successful..thanks to all ya'll!

Here are my top 13 highlights (in no particular order...13 for the number of years in Culpeper)
1) Meeting up with an ex blind dater who helped me unload tables/chairs...I began our conversation with "I don't want to be awkward, but..." Getting hopefully set up with a guy from the Ms. Womanless Contest (drag contest).
2) Raising over $175,000 during the weekend.
3) AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL weather
4) The guy who walked 40 miles around the track in 24 hours.
5) The 'fun'draiser 'Smashing Caner'
6) Taking the plunge...and going 'short, short'
7) The shared hugs, emotional moments, celebratory Survivor's lap, surreal Luminaria Ceremony, the Fight Back ceremony at 3:30 AM, and the inspiring Closing Ceremony.
8) The fact that a community can come together to raise over 2 million in 13 years against a disease that doesn't discriminate.
9) The fun...and, all the new friends you make.
10) We reached the 10 million mark for Culpeper in 13 years.
11) Gator Patrol Partner in Crime-Cindy...we can maneuver a gator over 4ft wide bridges, around obstacle course Campsite flags, and unload/load people crap in 5 seconds flat.
12) Seeing Captain Mike (one of my fellow teacher's husbands), Mrs. E (my assistant principal & Survivor), and Maria (who sets me up on blind dates & a teacher at my school) show up and run the 5K at 5 AM.
13) Kicking cancer in the butt!
