Kenny Chesney wrote a great song about what truly matters in life-friends, family, love, and the simple things...that's the Good Stuff...
Here's the Good Stuff I shared today...
1) I lazily stayed in bed until 6:45. I turned on the Today show at 7 while I piddled. Portis immediately moved to my pillow.

2) The family celebrated Worth's 26th birthday today at Ruby's for lunch (completed by Grams' presence).
3) Chatted with the Chair for Relay for a whopping 2.5 hours at Starbucks. This was good because normally the Chair and I are running around, wearing purple, communicate by technology, and neither one of us like coffee but we do like AC.
4) Momma, Daddy, and I enjoyed the night (I really haven't seen them together for a few weeks) by eating dinner, working out, eating ice cream popsicle in the backyard, and watching It's Complicated.

5) Only Kat's text messages.
6) Everyone is ok in Cville from the superman strong storms that rolled through.
7) Dad's suitcase--it makes an appearance once a year. You know not to come in 5 feet of it for fear of being 'bellowed' at by Daddy. The suitcase is the 'bible/safety deposit/information kiosik' of the family's trip to the Outer Banks. Since I was 3 or 4, the suitcase has made the trek to the beach. It comes complete with labeled envelopes for spending cash for each day, Visitor's Guides recent and ancient, travel size of toiletry you could fathom, in true teacher form there is neosporn, and a sprinkle of fun with a deck of cards.
